Frequently Asked Questions
Yes! I book 20-25 minute free consultation calls either over the phone or virtual, whatever your preference is.
The consultation call is a supportive space for you to ask any questions and get to know me, and Glow Therapy Services to see if we might be the right fit for you.
Each sessions lasts 50 minutes. In the beginning, I often recommend meeting once a week to help us get to know each other and create steady progress toward you goals. Many people find that this consistency allows for deeper exploration and a stronger sense of connection in the work. As therapy progresses, we'll revisit your schedule together to find a rhythm that fits your needs, availability, and what feels most supportive for your growth.
As of right now, I am only offering sessions via telehealth for folks living in Seattle and in Washington State.
Yes, most insurance plans offer out-of-network benefits that may give you partial or full refunds for mental health services. If this is an option you would like to explore you can call the number on the back of your insurance and ask these questions to understand your benefits:
-Does my plan offer any “out-of-network” insurance benefits for mental health services?
-Do I have out-of-network coverage to work with a therapist with a LMHC license?
-What is my out-of-network deductible? (This is an important question to clarify since many plans have different out-of-network deductibles).
- Once my deductible has been met, at what percentage does my plan cover out-of-network mental health services?
This a great question! You do not need to come prepared for our first session. We'll start by reviewing any questions you have and covering a few simple logistics to help you feel comfortable. From there, we'll begin an initial conversation to better understand what's bringing you to therapy, what you've been navigating, and what you hope to get out of our work together. My goal is for you to leave this first session feeling heard, supported, and with a clearer sense of what our work might look like moving forward.
