About Me
Emily Martin, LMHCA, NCC (she/her)
My name is Emily Martin, a Seattle Mental Health Counselor providing compassionate telehealth therapy in Washington State.
I became a therapist out of a deep respect for people’s stories and the resilience it takes to navigate life’s changes. My work is grounded in compassion, honesty, and curiosity, and I strive to create a space where you can feel supported and truly seen.
Outside of therapy, I recharge by trying new recipes, golfing, spending time outdoors, or exploring creative crafts like embroidery and needlepoint. These practices keep me grounded and inspire the balance and creativity I bring into my work with clients.

About Glow Therapy Services

At Glow Therapy Services, I provide telehealth counseling for individuals in Seattle and across Washington State.
My practice is built around the belief that everyone carries an inner light — sometimes dimmed by stress, transitions, or burnout — that can be rediscovered and nurtured.
Therapy here is about reflection, connection, and building the tools to create a life aligned with your values.
Therapeutic Approaches and Training
My style is relational and conversational, rooted in curiosity. I use a varity of therapies to help clients explore patterns, deepen self-understanding, and foster change.
Together, we’ll work toward clarity, self-compassion, and the mindset shifts needed to live with more alignment and fulfillment.
Emotion Focused Therapy (EFT)
What is it?
EFT sees emotions as guides rather than a problem to fix. In therapy, we explore these signals together so you can shift patterns, heal old wounds, and feel more balanced in your daily life
Internal Family Systems Therapy (IFS)
What is it?
IFS therapy recognizes that we all have different "parts" of ourselves, each carrying its own story and way of understanding the world. Sometimes these parts can be in conflict, leaving us feeling unsettled. By learning about these parts we can understand their role, bring harmony to internal conflict, and help you feel more aligned to your true self.
Psychodynamic Therapy
What is it?
So much of our story lives beneath the surface-- shaping how we love, worry, and move through the world. Psychodynamic therapy offers a space to bring those hidden shadows into the light, helping you rewrite old patterns and grow into a more grounded, authentic self.
Acceptance and Commitment Therapy
(ACT)
What is it?
ACT therapy centers on identifying the values that give your life meaning and direction. With these as your foundation, therapy helps you make choices that honor your priorities, allowing you to feel more grounded and at peace with yourself.
Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)
What is it?
CBT therapy helps you notice unhelpeful thought patterns and behaviors that may be keeping you stuck. By practicing new ways of thinking and responding, you can build healthier habits and feel more in control of your life
